Human Resource Development: Perspective, Strategies and Practice
This book has a number of origins. In this the editors joined the staff of Nottingham Business School within six months of each other, one as an Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Development specialist within the Department of HUman Resource Management, and one to establish and lead the same Department as its first Head. They found a common interest in the subjects of learning, development and HRD. We also found a common view that HRD is generally, and unhelpfully, treated as unproblematicand a subject which is not considered with the seriousness it deserves within academia.
